The government has amended an order under the Disaster Risk Management Act to facilitate in-person worship at churches on Saturdays and Sundays as follows:
While maintaining the physical distancing requirement of a minimum of six feet between persons, up to 100 persons may be allowed.
The new limit will also apply to weddings.
Funeral services and Burials will be allowed Mondays to Fridays with a maximum of 100 persons including the Clergy, undertakers etc.
The Church office will remain open from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm on weekdays The sacraments of the anointing of the sick and reconciliation are available during this time. Please note that the priest or bishop can only provide sacraments to persons outside of quarantine/isolation and within the current restrictions to hospital visits of one person a day.
